Nolan Turner Go Vols Pennant Tee - Pre-order

This “Go Vols” banner was created by Nolan Turner, and his sister Ella, for his 11th birthday party - A TN Vols VS FL Gators watch party. As a Vols fan born near the third Saturday of September, many of his birthday parties involved family members watching a crucial game during the Vols season, and Nolan was excited to make this birthday a Vols party. His friends gathered in their orange and white, cheered loud for their Volunteers, and booed even louder for the Gators. After the party, Nolan hung the banner in his room where it still hangs today.

Nolan and his mother, Courtney Turner, tragically lost their lives in a car accident with a drunk driver one month later. His sister Ella broke several bones in the accident but has since made a full recovery. His 5th grade class donned orange and white for their funeral.

To pay tribute to their legacy of fun, creativity, and kindness, The Nolan & Courtney Memorial Fund exists to spread positivity within the communities they loved and to enrich the future of those in Nolan’s graduating class and beyond. The first of many projects of the memorial fund is to establish endowed scholarships in their honor.
