We have a new online form to request a Department Charge Quote that will make the process more efficient for our customers.

1. Pre-Order Eligible Products:
   1. All Tennessee tax-free holiday pre-orders for technology items will not be processed prior to the tax free holiday time frame.
   2. Eligible products include computers, laptops, tablets, and other qualifying technology products priced under $1500.
   3. Please note that the eligibility of specific products may be subject to change.
2. Pre-Order Exclusions:
   1. The tax-free holiday pre-order does not apply to purchases of non-technology products or services, such as clothing, furniture, school supplies, or other items not specified within the eligible product categories.
   2. All GM items ordered with a technology pre-order are still subject to applicable sales tax as per standard state regulations and will be processed immediately.

Buying a new computer is easy with payroll deduction!

Full-time, regular UT faculty and staff members qualify for interest-free payroll deduction on technology items per the following guidelines:

• One current payroll deduction at a time
• Minimum total purchase (including sales tax) of $500
• Maximum balance of $3600, or $300 per month
• All items must be supplied by VolTech, including special orders from our current sources
• Anything not sold by VolTech, including GM, is excluded
• Gift cards excluded
• Each payroll deduction is a 12-month plan
• Each transaction requires a minimum 10% down payment at time of purchase (or higher, if necessary to reach the maximum allowable balance)
• Eligible customers must have been employed full-time at UT for at least six (6) months
